This next one started with my wife telling me that I need to push myself outside my comfort zone of painting sci-fi. I started by taking two days and thinking about the composition and learning how to draw a horses. The paint time was somewhere between 8-10 hours in Corel Painter and Photoshop. I switched between the programs pretty heavily and am starting to realize how well they work together and you create common shortcuts.

I decided to redesign my website for simplicity. Tossed out a lot of junk and now I officially feel pretty organized and refreshed.

Here's a traditional Gouache attempt at our English Bully , Maiya. She came out a bit squashed and stylized because I only had her for reference for a few minutes till she decided to walk away and proceed licking the floor :)
